African Wildlife

Wildlife throughout Africa is well represented in our collection -- from the Big 5 Safari animals to the lesser creatures and insects. With increasing pressure on development and sustainability in Africa, the wildlife is often affected in that their natural corridors of migration are often cut off by development. Logging of forests for wood exports often results in animals fleeing their habitat, only to be taken by poachers for animal parts and bushmeat. We will continue to put up images that represent the problems and efforts occurring throughout Africa as this continent struggles to find a balance where indigenous tribes and wildlife can thrive without causing long term harm to the overall ecosystem and habitats necessary to sustain them.
