Connie Ricca
Connie Ricca is not only a fine photographer, but also an excellent photo editor whom I’ve known for years. I worked with her in the mid-80s when she was the photo editor at Endless Vacations magazine – thus her understanding of travel photography! In the mid-90’s she moved to Seattle, where she edited images for the Corbis website, followed by a position at Microsoft, where she’s now editing the MSN news website. Throughout the years, she’s maintained her photography passion, most recently by documenting many of the sites along the Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery route. Since 2001, Connie has photographed more than 80 relevant sites in 13 states, driven over 8,000 miles, and followed the trail on foot, by horseback and afloat – all in anticipation of the National Bicentennial Commemoration that runs until 2006. Since the bicentennial is upon us, we thought we’d share some of her work with you!

NANPA Photographers
This lightbox samples the work of the excellent wildlife and nature photographers that I’ve gotten to know at NANPA conferences over the years. Although I’ve met many travel photographers at NANPA as well, the images in this lightbox are representative of the eco-system, habitat, flora and fauna images that I’ve collected from these environmentally committed photographers.

John & Lisa Merrill
John and Lisa Merrill began their quest as worldwide travel photographers a decade ago. They love exploring and photographing the rich cultural tapestry of our planet. Markets and festivals are favorite stomping grounds, and they strive to create images with a strong personal connection. Their commitment is evident in their never-ending thirst for new destinations. John and Lisa are always on the go, often with their young children, and return with exceptional images that inspire and excite us. What you’ll see in this lightbox is representative of their style and skill, and is especially appropriate for travel clients and educational publishers.
