We've done a lot of work behind the scenes since our last newsletter. Updates to our database have now been completed, allowing us to provide more accurate search results. We're also working with more great photographers with exciting new coverage! More details below...

  • Global Warming
    .

Since the topic of "Global Warming" has been so much in the news, we decided to put together a sampling of the kind of coverage we have on our website for you on this subject. Surely our "travel" clients won't be looking for much of this, (although every tourist that goes to Alaska wants to see a "calving" iceberg!), but our editorial and educational clients will find what we have very interesting.

    Getting Keyword Results
    .

Sometimes when you are searching on our site, it might seem that your keywords are returning fewer results than you would expect. We often review what our clients are searching for and have noticed some reoccurring issues that can cause poor results.

Introducing two of our new photographers...

    Per Karlsson

We have the fortune to have a true wine and gastronomy expert as one of our new contributing photographers! Per Karlsson, though a Swede, has been living and working in France for many years. He has studied the viticulture of the vines throughout Europe, France in particular, and has photographed its many faces.

    Pete Oxford

We're pleased to introduce you to one of our new photographers, Pete Oxford. Pete and his wife, Renee Bish have been traveling and photographing the world for over 25 years. I met him at the 8th World Congress up in Anchorage a year or so ago, where he was one of the Founding Photographers in the International League of Conservation Photographers.

    What's New?
    Danita's Column
As the lazy, hazy days of summer progress, we continue to process more and more images to our website all the time. As many of you know, we have a great staff with all kinds of digital imaging skills. Thus, our workflow for uploading images is going much quicker now. At last count, we had 210,000 images on the site and counting….fresh new images from all over the world to fulfill your every need!

We've had some clients asking about Royalty Free images, and we're putting together an RF collection of worldwide travel and nature. Just know that it won't have as much depth and breadth as the RM collection, but rather will feature iconic images of a generic nature. If you'd like to share anything about your RF needs with us, please email us at Danita@

We're doing our best to accommodate your changing needs.

We took the staff on a "Mystery Weekend" in July. We didn't tell them anything about where we were going, but rather that they should just pack an overnight bag and a passport and bring along a good attitude...
